Our JustStay hotel in Essen was completed in 2024 and is THE hotel when you have a visit to Messe Essen coming up. The exhibition grounds at Grugapark can be reached from our JustStay hotel in just 8 minutes – and that’s walking. You have an appointment in another city in the area? No problem: Our hotel in Essen is just a stone’s throw away from the A40 and A52 highways, so you can reach any major city in the surrounding area in a flash – regardless of whether it’s Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Dortmund, Duisburg, Düsseldorf or Wuppertal.
But Essen does of course have much more to offer than just good transport links. The Zollverein colliery, for example – an industrial monument, UNESCO World Heritage Site and once the largest coal mine in the world. At Baldeneysee lake, you can take a wonderful break and enjoy the view of the water with a cool Pilsken beer aboard one of the many Weiße Flotte boats.
