The goal: to bring the JustStay concept alive. Namely up close and personal. Similar to an open day, anyone can pop by to get to know our unique digital hotel concept. The first JustStay Day premiered in Munich. But that was just the beginning! More JustStay days will soon follow at our hotel in Mülheim an der Ruhr and at the JustStay hotel in Essen.
Open hotel
What makes our location in Munich so special? How does our digital hotel concept work? And what does the mayor say about the fact that we are now revolutionizing the hotel industry in his city? Curious visitors were able to find all this out during the JustStay day. Exclusive guided tours in small groups gave them the opportunity to check out the modern suites and rooms and take a look behind the scenes. The digital concept was not the only thing demonstrated live and in color, so was the innovative room service, which is unique in Germany in this form!
A day with a kick
A special highlight of the day: the table football games with real professionals! Anyone who scored a goal won an overnight stay at one of our JustStay hotels. There was no shortage of Bavarian delicacies from the food truck, finger food and freshly tapped beer of course – as well as freshly prepared cocktails, coffee, tea and tasty pastries.
And our raffle, the proceeds of which were donated to the AWO Open House in Vaterstetten-Parsdorf, also generated great interest. The event brought in 1,000 euros for the important social work, and the head of the facility attended in person to accept the donation.
VIPs
Other guests included some well-known faces from the state capital – including the second mayor of Vaterstetten, Maria Wirnitzer, the CSU’s general secretary Theresa Fauth, and members of the municipal council Michelino Capezzuto-Zehetmeier, Ilona Dreier and Manfred Vodermair. We were also pleased to welcome Martin Wagner, the retired second mayor of Vaterstetten, and Jutta Löbert, official on the municipal council. They were all impressed by our commitment to digitizing the hotel industry in Bavaria. In short: The JustStay day at our new hotel in Munich was a complete success!
Next up
One thing is certain though, the JustStay days are not a unique event, but the start of a series of events that should give more and more people the opportunity to experience our fully digital hotel concept live. Whether it’s at our hotel in Mülheim an der Ruhr or in Essen. Round 2 in Munich is also on the agenda – because we’re already planning the next JustStay day in the Bavarian capital for next year!
Incidentally:
Our JustStay hotels in Munich, Essen and Ratingen offer excellent links to the exhibition centers.
